You may have heard about the mysterious dead birds (63 total) that were found in downtown Austin early Monday morning (not as bad as this), but you might have missed these very funny and original photos posted by our friends at The Austinist. They were taken by Austin photographer Chris Carter.
It is still unclear what caused the death of so many birds, but it shut down most of downtown for half the day, and even keeping AFF staff from a meeting at the SFA Hotel.
