Tales from the Public Domain

The Duke University Center for the Study of Public Domain recently created a comic book to help filmmakers better understand intellectual property in film. It is particularly helpful for documentary filmmakers and will make you think twice about using that footage where an image from The Simpsons pops up the background (that will likely cost you around $10,000).
