An event everyone will be talking about. Don't miss out on the one-night-only premiere of W. - Opening Night of the 15th annual Austin Film Festival - just steps away from the Austin Capitol where Bush, former Governor of Texas, held office.

James Cromwell in attendance!

Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W. Bush is one of the most controversial public figures in recent memory. In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone (2007 AFF Extraordinary Contribution to Filmmaking Recipient) is bringing the life of our 43rd President to the big screen as only he can. W. takes viewers through Bush’s eventful life -- his struggles and triumphs, how he found both his wife and his faith, and of course the critical days leading up to his decision to invade Iraq. --

In celebration of the Middle East International Film Festival and its commitment to student films, the UAE Students blog is featuring posts from film students and journalism students discussing Arabic films.
